Trauma

Survivors of traumatic experiences are often experiencing symptoms that are causing significant distress. Symptoms such as problems with sleep, hypervigilance, nightmares, flashbacks, and avoidance of memories are just a few of the problems that may linger long after the trauma is over. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms or more, our work together can address and resolve them so you can begin or continue your healing journey.

Perfectionism and Low
Self-Esteem

Do you spend too much time listening to that inner critic that tells you over and over that you aren't good enough, or that you are going to fail? Going over your smallest mistakes, and feeling like it's impossible to let them go? Doubting your abilities, and feeling like a fraud? Together we can improve your self-esteem and develop the self-compassion to finally eliminate  these unhelpful patterns and beliefs  and build confidence and resilience.

Let's get started working on assertive communication, setting healthy boundaries, and investing in relationships that you truly value and enjoy.

Substance Use and Addiction

Maybe you aren't sure if you have a problem. You find yourself drinking or using a substance to feel better or ignore your pain, but it seems to get out of control sometimes. You want to reduce your use or stop altogether, but haven't been able to on your own. Let's explore this, and help you gain insight into why you drink or use. We will develop a plan to help you decide what you want for yourself, and make it happen together.

Life Transitions

Big changes in life (whether expected or unexpected) can cause a lot of stress, uncertainty, and fear. I will support you through the transition while we ensure you are able to manage your stress, make decisions that feel right to you, and help you ensure that you are navigating the changes the way that you want to.
